The community validation phase is an important component of the CMP as it ensures the authenticity, veracity, significance, and completeness of the mapped cultural assets in the locale.
The CPS logo is inspired by the concept of “ripple effect”, focusing on the Mission of the Center. The ripple effect starts with CPS being the repository of information, data, and knowledge about Pangasinan. The circles symbolize the Mission. All of the circles are identical yet growing, signifying how the information and knowledge gathered are transformed, utilized, and disseminated in order to make a lasting impact and thereby contributing to the development of Pangasinan.
