In 2021, the municipal government of Lingayen partnered with the Provincial Government of Pangasinan through CPS and the NCCA, to implement its cultural mapping project.
Through the 5-day cultural mapping training facilitated by the NCCA, the identified mappers were equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills in order to successfully map the cultural assets and properties of the capital town of Lingayen and eventually produce a local cultural profile (LCUP).
The mapping of the targeted cultural properties is set to be completed in 2022.
