Revitalizing Pangasinan Traditional Industries

In October 2022, with the support of Governor Ramon V. Guico III, the Provincial Government of Pangasinan, through the CPS, also awarded research grants, amounting to Php 300,000.00 each, in support of four (4) research projects:

1) Revitalization of Artisanal Salt- making in Pangasinan (to be conducted by L-NU);

2) Revitalization of the Brickmaking Industry in Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan (to be conducted by PHINMA UPang);

3) Revitalization of the Blacksmithing Industry in Pozorrubio, Pangasinan (to be conducted by UL),

and 4) Revitalization of the Pottery Industry in San Carlos City, Pangasinan (to be conducted by VMUF).

The research projects are set to be implemented from January to June 2023.
